Vacancy for project manager position in our Role and Responsibilities
The position holder is responsible for
- General Responsibilities
• Project strategy:
• Creation of the event concept
• Analysis of previous shows and market trends through statistics and market research.
• Identify contributors – exhibitors, sponsors, associations, governments, other entities.
• Setting of quantitative achievable.
• Project plan:
• Create and implementing pipeline & timeline.
• Creating and implementing detailed show budget, and the sub
• Creating the Plans of Road shows for team and coordinating with Other shows for effective marketing of shows by sharing the resources
• Planning the format of the show and designing and maintaining the order of the key activities of the show
• Ensuring the plan for Start-Ups selections and establishment of effective Panel of Judges
• Developing the Sales plan of the Show.
• Allocating quantitative achievable to individual team members.
• Operations:
• Approaching selected contributors, establishing and maintaining network with said contributors.
• Market research and market development.
• Establishing and implanting branding for the exhibition.
• Researching and visiting relevant exhibitions.
• Conducting sales direct and indirect sales and preparing weekly and monthly sales reports.
• Ensuring timeline and pipeline are followed & achievable are met.
• Preparing a weekly show update report to be presented to the company’s management.
• Team Management:
• Tracking & evaluation of performance of team members in accordance with achievable.
• Conducting team meetings.
• Identifying training needs of team members.
• Other duties as assigned by the position’s line manager and/or the company’s management
- Specific Responsibilities
• Producing the Conferences of the Shows & Reports (UAE and International Chapters)
• Developing New Concepts & Projects
• Prepare Proposals for New Businesses.
Position Requirements
The position holder should have
• Knowledge of USI/CRM System
• Knowledge of MS Office
• Knowledge of a Project Management Software
• 4-5 years’ experience in managing exhibitions
• Working knowledge of allocated sector & industry
• Working knowledge of key countries & regions
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
The position holder should have
• A project management degree (PMP or equivalent)
• Communication skills (written & spoken) in English; other languages preferable
• Time management skills
• Prioritization skills
• Follow-up skills
• High degree of organization
• Sales personality
• Ability to lead and motivate others.
