Accountant

Location : Qatar
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Daily Data Entries related Purchase, sales, cash and other transactions
• Manage all the staff in supermarket
• Prepare, analyze and report weekly, monthly, quarterly gross margin analysis by brand by customer type
• Assist in month-end closing, prepare journal entries as necessary, and analyze inventory evaluation, inventory roll forward
• Coordinate with IT department for system issues, maintenance and development such as production, purchasing, import/export, accounts payable, accounts receivable, receiving.
• Prepare detailed account analysis and reconcile sales, cost and inventory
• Prepare and analyze inventory and margin reports & perform analytical studies in regards to cost analyses and profitability
• Ensure timely submission, accuracy and validity of inventory, gross margin schedules to management

Requirements

·         Finance background, preferably with prior experience In Supermarket Industry but not essential.
·         Higher Diploma/Bachelor Degree in accounting
·         Ability to provide accurate, high quality output
·         The ability to produce co-ordinate & develop financial reports
·         Self –starter, highly motivated with strong reconciliation skills.
·         Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
·         Strong accounting Software, POS, Excel & Word Skills
·         Confidence to work independently and to a strict timetable
